Hi,
I wanted to get some more information. Where would be the best place to visit over the next couple of weeks to see the bird migration over Israel. I would be interested in seeing many different species. Is it worth going to Hula Lake in the next week? If so, what kind of species would be there?

david, i very much enjoy reading your updates on the “migration” in and around lotan. i spent a few very memorable days at lotan three years ago. we spent a morning together studying desert ecology and touring hai bar reserve.

As youprobely now,that Imperial eagle on the site are not a adult,but a juvenile in its first plumage!

After Passover, around the 19th I will arrive in Israel. I want to plan a pre-tour birding trip before the group arrives on the 26th. Is it possible for me to fly into Tel Aviv, travel south and join a trip for a few days. Please let me know if this is viable, and what would costs be and lastly the easiest way to travel. If convenient we could set up a Skype call, just send me an address.
