Europhoto 6 - The
solution
Species mentioned in our entries included Great White Egret, Western Reef Heron, Snowy Egret, and Cattle Egret. In the West Palearctic there are records from Jordan, Egypt, the Cape Verde Islands and more recently Italy in 2001, which was the first European record. There is a good possibility that this species is one of the more overlooked birds in the West Palearctic region and there are no confirmed records from Israel to date.
