Calandrella sp, 28th October 2002:
Could this bird be a Hume's Short-toed Lark?

Given the level of interest from our European friends, we've decided to include a further six images from various angles of the potential Hume's Short-toed Lark. This bird is receiving much more attention that we would ever have imagined. We would also welcome any comments from birders who have previous experience of this species from Asia, especially of birds in fresh autumn plumage.
